How do plants get nitrogen to synthesize proteins?

3) How do plants get nitrogen to synthesize proteins?

Ans. A bacteria called Rhizobium takes the  atmospheric nitrogen and convert into a water soluble form .  Plants absorb these compounds along with water to get nitrogen and they synthesize (make) proteins.  They also take the nitrogen from the fertilizers added in soil.
